Recycling

I had a brief discussion with a friend today about recycling. It sounds like she does what I wish I already did...recycle. I throw away paper, drink out of plastic water bottles, and discard aluminum cans every single day!!! I do think about it everytime I use it or throw it away. But I still never do anything about it. I am just so wasteful!

It annoys me that everytime I open a drawer or look in a box that I can't find anything! I seem to horde every peice of mail or receipt even though I never open it and I never balance my checkbook. So my new goal is to get more organized and be less wasteful in general. I figure that I can recycle all that old mail and receipts and accomplish two things at once!

In the theme of recycling, I want to congratulate Phillip and myself on adopting a dog from the MSPCA. Blossom is our lab/greyhound mix. She was 1 1/2 when we found her. She came with her name...not that she really answers to it, but we couldn't come up with anything else. Here's a picture of Blossom that I took today when I got home a few minutes ago. (She is always doing something funky with the position of her ears.)
