1 Month Doctor's Appointment

Emerson had her 1 month appointment with her pediatrician, Dr. Weinacker, today! She did great! Her appointment was at 10:30 and we arrived at 10:15. We finally made it back to the room at 11:00 and it took almost another hour for us to get out of there! We will definitely have the early appointments in the future if at all possible. She had her second round of the Hepatitus B vaccine and a blood test. I guess I can say that if she didn't enjoy the vaccine, then she really HATED the blood test. Unfortunately, we got the mail today and found a letter from the State of Alabama Health Department stating that her newborn blood test performed in the hospital was deemed an "unsatisfactory specimen" and therefore has to be redone as soon as possible. Emerson, as well as, myself are beyond estactic!

Emerson is a little out of the ordinary when it comes to her current stats...She is really long, average weight, with a small head.

Height: 22 inches ... 75th Percentile
Weight: 9.0 lbs. ... 50th Percentile
Head: 36 1/2 cm. ... 25th Percentile

Thank goodness her head is on the small side...If you can't tell Phillip has a big head (literally not figuratively) under all his hair.
