Okay. So I am completely stressed.
I make a “birthday resolution” each year – sorta like a New Year’s one, but a birthday version. My “birthday resolution” was to just say “NO!”. Not to drugs. To everything. I take on too much and am always politely agreeing with what everyone else wants. The problem is…The reason they are usually asking me to do something is because they don’t want to do it themselves. And most likely because they know someone else will do it for them, which usually ends up being me. So, as I have not kept my saying “NO!” rule yet. I am going to start. So if you don’t want to hear “NO!” then don’t ask because that’s what you are going to get.
I get myself into binds agreeing to stuff. I end up having to do the things that I don’t really want to do, in order, to help someone else out only to forgo my own personal needs. Not anymore. That’s all I have to say about that.
