Let me tell you about CoCo...I pulled into the driveway last night and opened the garage door. CoCo sprints out of the garage and into the driveway (Phillip is driving up behind me). I jump out of my car and do the only way to catch Blossom trick - Open the back car door and start yelling "Let's go for a ride!" That seemed to work because CoCo immediately jumped in my car. She's a slippery little thing and immediately jumps out the front driver's door and hauls it into the front yard and down the street. I am running (it's freezing and I don't move that fast). Phillip is driving down the road and finally realizes that I am trying to catch up so he picks me up. We head on down, find CoCo, do the ride trick, and then go home. After that, Blossom and CoCo go crazy in the backyard together. I think Blossom was just excited that another dog wanted to run the track that she has been thoroughly working on (aka destroying our grass) since the day we got her. Tinkerbell didn't seem to mind the two big dogs, but Tank was the hot older guy that they were both trying to claim. It was rather funny watching him try to get away from two very interested females (both fixed by the way).
Apparently CoCo has the same escape gene that Blossom does. She was able to somehow collapse the front door of her crate and then run freely in our garage (leaving a big cow patty in the middle of our garage might I add...). I bet she drove Blossom crazy all afternoon running around the garage. We wised up early to Blossom's ways of somehow opening both latches to the door of her crate and have since used a carabiner to keep the door extra shut.
This morning, Blossom dug up her bone to show CoCo. This bone looks like it came off someone's leg. It's very disturbing that she loves it so much and it makes me cringe every time I accidentally find its new hiding spot (for whatever reason, it makes me jump each time it pops out of the dirt). I really want our yard guy to find it one day... I think CoCo wanted to share in the joys of Blossom's bone, but Blossom was rather protective and only let CoCo look at it.
