It's time to REDECORATE!

So decorating a nursery on a budget is not easy apparently. Phillip and I have a round about figure that we want to try and stick to. I can almost go ahead and assume that we will go over. But it's nice to have a starting point. Like I have said before - I love to decorate! My usual way of doing things is to have an idea, move towards it, change it drastically along the way depending on what I fall in love with at the time, and then work around it. Since this room already has a very specific purpose, it should be that much easier...

We are going to be moving around all our furniture in the next few weeks. Basically, we have 2 guest rooms right now. One is our primary and the other is our secondary which I don't think has even been used. We are turning our secondary guest room into our primary...which means consolidating furniture and keeping only the necessities and the nicer pieces. You would not believe how many times we discussed which room should go where. If you have been to our house, you know that there are 4 bedrooms and 2 sit on one side of the house with a hall bath plus the master and the other 2 share a jack and jill bath. We want our guests to be comfortable and have their privacy, but at the same time, its our house and we shouldn't live one way just to accomodate weekend guests a few times a year. So the primary guest room is going to be the front room with the hall bath...Sorry guests! The other two rooms are going to be the nursery (the bigger of the two) and the other one (was our junk/doggy room) is getting cleaned out, painted, and organized into a secondary TV room/guest room with daybed/storage room for baby junk. I want to make it super cute, yet keep is sparse so it has floor space. Basically, I have a armoire in there now that has to be repainted and a chair. We have a daybed in storage so that will work. Now how to decorate it...
