She has grown so much in the past 3 months. Emerson is no longer the baby that you hold in a laying down position. She loves checking out the world around her and is rather unhappy when she can't turn her head to see everything and everyone around her. I made a list of what she is currently doing...
- Holds her head up straight with no real major bobbles (unless its late in the day and she is exhausted).
- Smiles and laughs all the time (thank goodness for a happy baby!).
- Sits up easily with balancing help.
- Loves to stand (putting weight on her feet and trying to balance).
- Recognizes certain people and their voices even if she can't see them, specifically - me, Phillip, and my parents.
- Squealing and cooing non-stop.
- Blowing bubbles at every opportunity.
- Rolled over from tummy to back twice so far (but she's not too fond of tummy time so she doesn't have the opportunity too often).
- Plays with her toys on the activity mat.
- Enthralled with her own hands and feet.
